Meet Lexie
Standing at a bright and cheery 4’10”, Lexie Martin is an absolute explosion of joy that is much needed in today’s world - (she’ll have you know she is 5’3“ in heels). With vocal runs that never seem to end inviting you to dance along as soon as the beat drops. Her debut EP, produced by Nash Overstreet ( Britney spears, Rachel Platten, hot Chelle Rae) showcases her voice, her stride as a performer, and establishes herself as a contending writer in today’s world of streaming pop.
Lexie grew up on Long Island. Her love for music came from listening to jazz in the car with her dad, sing-a-longs with her grandfather, and performing in school musicals. Lexie’s favorite artists growing up were Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson and Jojo.
While her style is self built she is indeed a trained musician. Lexie demanded she started taking voice lessons at age 8 and it never stopped from there. She attended the Long Island High School for the Arts, USDAN (theatre camp), American Theatre Dance Workshop, and American University. She got a BA in musical theatre but knew she was called to the Hollywood Hills before the streets of Broadway ( But no mistake about it, she absolutely starred in Hairspray before heading West). Lexie moved to Los Angeles in February 2018 and immediately began collaborating with artists like Nash Overstreet, Marissa Lauren, and Juliet Piper as she worked to establish her sound.
Lexie dropped her first EP January of 2019 and her first music video for her single “I Can” June 2019. It’s an instant classic in the anthemic pop world and is available on itunes and featured on a variety of top Spotify playlists.

I CAN
I Can was written by Nash overstreet and Lexie Martin. The music video was produced by Lexie Martin and Blind Raven Productions, filmed in NY, NY.
“ I was a big fan of the production of the beat. The way her vocals were able to just float beautifully on top of the beat was the element of true skill and vocal ability. The beat just gets you grooving and moving without even realizing it. It’s so fun, bold, and charismatic. However, what we REALLY loved was the connection between the lyricism and the visual.”- BUZZ MUSIC
